Почему файл ресурсов не обновляется в target директории проекта?

Имеется java Maven-проект в IDE Eclipse 2022-12 (4.26.0).
В директории /src/test/resources имеются файлы используемые в junit-тестах. Проблема в том, что при обновлении содержимого любых файлов в указанной директории и поддиректориях целевые файлы в target/test-classes не обновляются и приходится их удалять в ручном режиме.

В чём может заключаться такое поведение? Каким образом настроить Eclipse для перезаписи старых файлов более новыми в целевой директории?
